"Hilakbot," Xavier Adriano's (Ian Veneracion) brainchild-horror show is doing well in its afternoon scheduled but is offered a primetime slot by the network provided they present a new concept.

Carlo (Yul Servo) takes the challenge and decides to shoot in Siquijor -- an island in the south well known for its mysticism.

The network assigns executive producer, and Carlo's former flame, Doreen Jimenez (Angel Aquino) to pruduce the show.

But the two still have unsolved issues to deal with.

During their stay in Siquijor, nothing odd occurs, leaving them with no footage to bring home.

So Carlo resorts to his old ways: He stages a possession for the show since they're running out of time.

But as soon as they arrive in Manila, strange things happen to each member of the team.

It's as if they've been cursed.

Carlo tries to investigate what is really happening.

He probes into the events and digs deeper into their footage with the help of his editor Neil (Rodel Velayo).

As they go through the tapes, a whirlwind of mystery ensues, steadily building into a shocking hell-raising finale.
